Experience

George B. Limbert, Esq. is a Principal and Partner at Limbert Sabol Law LLC. He brings extensive experience in executive leadership, hospitality law, construction law, franchise law, insurance litigation, representing individuals, businesses, and organizations in complex disputes and negotiations.

George previously served as President and General Counsel of Red Roof Franchising. In these roles, George led strategic transformation, delivering 3x EBITDA growth and redefining brands to promote differentiation and improve customer sentiment. He has overseen legal, compliance, franchise contracts, technology, and HR departments, and has managed strategic planning and operational excellence during periods of significant organizational change.

George began his legal career at Isaac, Brant, Ledman & Teetor, LLP, where he managed complex litigation, participated in federal civil rights cases, and provided counsel for businesses and individuals on contract negotiations, dispute resolution, entity formation, and real estate matters. He has drafted a wide range of business and legal documents, handled multimillion-dollar estate disputes, and served as General Counsel to several nonprofit organizations, including the largest Greek Orthodox Church in Ohio.

George is an adjunct faculty member at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, teaching Franchising Law. He is actively involved in industry and thought leadership, serving as General Counsel for the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral & Cathedral Foundation, Vice President of the American Hellenic Education Progressive Association (AHEPA), President of the Hellenic Bar Association of Columbus, and as a board member for the Greek Olympic Society. His past engagements include serving on the Board of Directors for the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA), Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association (OHLA), and a gubernatorial appointment to the Ohio Tourism Board.
